Rules & Guidelines

 Refusal of a polygraph test will result in your team's disqualification.

1. This is a fun, fundraising event for the Teague FFA however, in order to keep all folks honest a Polygraph will be administered at check-in to all winning teams.
   

2. 1-4 man team (Online Entry available; Online Payment via Venmo @teagueyf)

3. Hunt anywhere, in any county, in Texas.
   
4. All varmints must be hunted and shot by the registered team members during the 26 hour hunting period! (No hunting before 4:00 pm Feb. 3rd)
   
5. No trapped, snared, caged-raised, or frozen animals will be allowed.
   
6. There will be a 15 animal species cap towards points.
   
7. ONLY bring skunk tails to weigh in.  Skunks will not be allowed to count toward point totals if more than tail is present.
   
8. No pooling of animals between teams.
   
9. No modifying the weight of animals in any way. 
   
10. No use of aircraft, drones or dogs. 
    
11. The use of “Night Vision” of any kind and for any reason is prohibited!  This includes thermal and infrared imaging.
    
12. Weigh-in: 6-7pm. Be present at the Teague Ag building no later than 7pm on Saturday, February 4, 2022 for weigh-in or you will be disqualified!
    
13. Must follow all County, State, and Federal hunting laws.  If you break the law, your team WILL be disqualified! (This includes having a proper Texas hunting license.) All State of Texas Game Law and Rules apply.
    
14. Every team member will be entered for door prizes however must be present at weigh-in to WIN door prizes!
    
    
15.  Decisions of the judges are FINAL! (JUDGES MAY BE HUNTING IN CONTEST)
